Mission Statement

Our Purpose

We are committed to providing a balanced, multi-literacy approach that empowers each student to stand out—intellectually, culturally, digitally, and civically—in a fast-changing global society.

Guided by the principles of Purpose, Passion, and Proficiency, we offer a challenging, college-bound education that builds character and critical thinking, supported by strong family and community values for lifelong leadership and productive citizenship.

We cultivate an exceptional learning environment where every scholar is empowered to pursue a college pathway and meet the highest academic expectations—together with REACS staff and families.

REACS — Goals

Goals

Our goals reflect our plan to prepare our scholars to lead healthy, whole, and productive lives as critical-thinking, intelligent, creative, and giving individuals. The Rochdale Early Advantage Charter School will ensure that all scholars, including English Language Learners (ELLs) and Special Education (Sp. Ed.) scholars, exceed the high expectations set for them in alignment with New York State standards. Specifically, our goals are to:

Academic & Character Goals

  • Ensure scholars meet and/or exceed standards in ELA, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies with an ongoing focus on college and beyond.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate scholars to track academic progress, using a Kindergarten baseline and pre/post testing each year.
  • Meet the highest expectations of families and the community through relationships that keep scholars’ needs at the center of all initiatives.
  • Demonstrate character, citizenship, and community service daily while developing purpose, passion, and proficiency.
